Arkansas Automotive & Truck is your family-owned shop for auto repair in Hot Springs — fixing cars and trucks right since 2006, and calling you for your OK before we install a part.

Work gets done without you knowing — or agreeing to — what was needed.
No clear timeline, no updates, and no idea when you'll be back on the road.
Handing your keys to strangers and hoping they do right by you.
Nothing gets installed without your OK — we call before any work starts.
Trained, certified techs who do the job the way it should be done.
Back on the road with a family-owned shop you can come back to.
We're a family-owned shop that's been here since 2006, led by owner Brent James, with ASE-certified technicians who do the job right and talk to you like a neighbor — because that's what we are.
“Exceptional service! Victoria checked us in and kept us updated on the progress as my truck was being repaired. Repairs were expected to take three to four days, but they were done in just two days. I will definitely use Arkansas Automotive for any future repairs.”

“Victoria was very kind and informative while dropping off my vehicle. I appreciated the kindness so early in the day. They were able to get me in quick and done before I expected. Will be going back, just not any time soon. ✌️😆”

“We are new in Hot Springs and needed a new evaporator valve on our 2023 Lincoln Aviator. Called around and couldn't find anyone we wanted to use. Went online and saw the reviews for Arkansas automobile and truck repair. We are so happy that we did so. The service, courtesy, professionalism and prices are all very good. We plan to use them for all our repair needs on both our vehicles. When you go there and talk to Zack, you will instantly feel valued as a customer and get an honest and fair price on your service needs. Thanks Zack. Be in soon for oil changes and anything else we need. Best regards, Charles and Dolores Robinson”

A small transmission concern can turn into a full rebuild if it's left alone. An ignored warning light only gets more expensive the longer it waits. Catching it early costs less — and keeps you on the road.
Auto repair in Hot Springs doesn't have to be a leap of faith. At Arkansas Automotive & Truck, we've spent every year since 2006 turning out honest work on the cars, SUVs, trucks, and fleet vehicles our neighbors depend on — and the reason drivers keep coming back is simple: we tell you what's wrong, what it costs, and what it takes before we turn a single wrench.
Transmission & CVT repair is where a lot of shops guess. We diagnose it first, explain what we found in plain words, and call you for your OK before we install a part — because a transmission is too expensive a job to leave to surprises. Engine diagnostics means tracking down the real cause behind a warning light, not just clearing the code and hoping it stays off. Brakes get a proper inspection — pads, rotors, and the rest of the system — so you know your vehicle will stop when you need it to. Oil & maintenance keeps the small things from turning into big ones, and general auto repair covers the everyday fixes that keep a car or truck on the road month after month.
ASE-certified technicians do the work, and a family-owned shop stands behind it. That's the whole pitch. No surprise bills, no work you didn't approve, no being left in the dark about your own vehicle. Just auto repair in Hot Springs done the way it ought to be — and a shop that picks up the phone when you call.
